This page details some of the facilities available to patients and their visitors.
The staff restaurant is open to both visitors and patients, serving a selection of hot meals, snacks, sandwiches, confectionery and drinks.
The hospital shop sells a wide range of goods including confectionery, soft drinks, newspapers and magazines, books, greetings cards, stationery, gifts and personal items.
The shop also operates a trolley service which visits each ward during the morning for the sale of newspapers and other items.
A trolley library service to the wards is provided by Red Cross volunteers.
Television and radio programmes are now available at every bedside via the new Premier entertainment and information system. Payment cards are required for most services. Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service, broadcasts every weekday evening and for much of the day at weekends. Radio Warneford can be found on the Premier system and is available to listen to free of charge.
A telephone service is also available through the Premier bedside system. A payment card is required. Patients can call Radio Warneford for free using this system.
Patients may bring their mobile phones with them. However, it may interfere with vital hospital equipment. Always check with the hospital staff before switching on a mobile phone in any area of the hospital.
The hospital has a chapel, the Chapel of the Ascension, and a multi-faith room. A team of Chaplains serve the Trust and they are always available. Sikh prayer tapes may be borrowed. For full details of the religious and spiritual services available, please see the leaflet enclosed in every bedside information pack.
There is one visitors car park situated at the front of Warwick Hospital. Disabled parking spaces are available close to the hospital building. Assisted disabled parking is also provided.
Please note that car parking charges apply.
